I first met Avery's parents in July. A very sweet couple contacted me for a family session. While I adore working with Houston families and children, this portrait session was especially important because they were submitting an application to adopt a baby. I eagerly sent their final copies off and sent all my positive vibes their way. You see, while I am a photographer, I also am a Mama to three little girls. They are the essence of my heart. I know what it means to be a mother. 

A few months later, the couple contacted me to let me know they were coming home with a precious baby girl! I was thrilled to document their newborn session and spent more time than I should admit double checking colors, props, and ensuring they would love each and every single image of their time with me. We chose soft mints, blush, apricot and blush pink. Cream also is an accent color to tie everything in perfectly. She slept like an angel the entire time and I barely saw her eyes. From the moment I picked her up, a sense of peace surrounded the session and I was in my element. Wrapping baby, molding her into beautiful womb-like poses, and adorning her perfect face with beautiful hand-made headbands. It was an honor. Truly an honor to spend the morning with her and her amazing parents.

I look forward to seeing her in 6 months for her sitter session and again at 12 months for her cake smash + one year session. Here are a few of my favorite images!

For my time with this sensational family, they chose the waterfall location I use. It's located in Cypress, though also has easy access to Tomball Texas or even Katy Texas, thanks to the 99 toll road. Regardless, this location is both timeless and ethereal. The natural tone, greenery and unique stone entry are organic; your pregnancy is meant to be celebrated so this location truly makes your baby bump shine. 

For all of my professional photography collections, family portraits are included. These are absolutely important and your spouse and little ones are part of your story; no session is complete without them. My all inclusive photography investment ensures you walk away with a minimum of 25 high resolution professionally enhanced files as well as archival and impeccable professional prints and products. This in mind, I adore when your family is at your maternity session. While we do focus on your baby bump, we also spend time capturing Mom interacting with Dad, and the little ones being ever so excited about their new sibling. Her baby bump is absolutely perfect! While photographing these, I truly felt a sense of honor. There is such beauty and feminity in pregnancy; the shape of the bump, the glow of a mother-to-be as she envsions meeting the bundle of joy. Truly remarkable.

Ah, a brand new baby. There's few things as special. As a Houston Newborn & Family Photographer, I specialize in all things squishy baby and family milestones. I adore working with my most petite clients; wrapping them lovingly and showcasing all the beauty of a fresh new baby. Curly poses, macro images of lips, eyes, profile shots, etc. - these are all the smallest of details you will forever treasure. 

For my time with this handsome baby boy, I designed a newborn session reflecting his mama's favorite colors: soft blue and grey hues; a little tan, and also rustic wooden floors. His posing is truly laid back to set an organic tone though also show the curly nature of a newborn.

I cannot help but marvel at his full head of hair! He is simply perfect.
