Ahhh, a newborn session. There’s something especially ethereal and sacred about newborn portraits, particularly in home lifestyle sessions like this precious baby girl. Perhaps it’s a family inviting you into their little nest they’ve created for their wee one or just interacting with a family in their home, but nonetheless I am honored to photograph these. Moreover, as a Houston Newborn Photographer, I serve all of Houston including the suburbs of North Houston such as Spring, The Woodlands, Magnolia and even Conroe TX. 

Lifestyle newborn sessions are both relaxed and easy going. Through the use of your window light, I pose you to reflect connections and the multitude of emotions surrounding bringing baby home from the hospital. The utter and complete adoration you exude is beautiful!

Baby Girl is stunning as can be. Her little lips, chubby hands and perfectly arched eyebrows truly are a wonder. I imagine her sweet parents could stare at her for hours! Mom and Dad also requested minimal retouching to be done on baby so that her complete newborn look be preserved; they’d like to remember baby exactly as she is. That’s one nice thing about commissioning my professional photography services: I respect your editing and retouching wishes.

Greetings! Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I’m excited to show you a lovely session! As a Houston Family and Children’s Portrait Photographer, I delight in documenting all family milestones, though especially enjoy working with little ones and their mothers. I have three little gals myself (you may have seen them on the blog – they’re sassy as can be!) and because of this, I can attest how important it is for you to be in the images with your children. You will never regret doing this! Years from now you’ll treasure your portraits and lovingly recall the memories. That’s something about motherhood: it’s not until the dust has settled and the pitter pattering of little feet cease to echo do we truly realize how fleeting time is. That is the heart of my photography: preserving this time for you.

For this session, we used a location in Montrose, which is located near downtown Houston. It has overhanging trees and a lovely cobble stone path. Not only is it quite cozy and timeless, this location also lends gorgeous light as the sun rose through the trees. 

For all of my outdoor sessions, I use natural light to create images that are both vibrant and soulful. The light is my canvas. I also like for your gallery to be diverse so we do a large variety of set ups to ensure your session is a cohesive collection as it graces your walls. For instance, individual portraits of each child are important as are images of Mom and the little ones, too. For this particular session, we simply focused on Mom as they also booked a family session for a month later (which I’ll be blogging soon!).
