A precious and squishy newborn baby boy is on my blog this morning! As a Houston Family Photographer, I adore working with your tiny little cherub loves. The art of posed newborn photography is near and dear to my heart; the light illuminating their features, molding them into womb-like poses, and ensuring they reflect fine art portraiture is what I most look forward to. All of my newborn sessions include high resolution files, too, so the session is fully inclusive. This is fantastic for parents! Here are my favorite images from his posed newborn session. 

For my time with Hudson, I designed a session portraying his mother's favorite colors such as soft blue, heather gray, stone, oatmeal and of course wood floors and a rustic wooden bowl. I wrapped him ever so elegantly during my time with him; he loved it!

As a Houston photographer specializing in outdoor maternity and posed newborn photography, I truly delight in presenting you with a warm, authentic and connected gallery showcasing all that is beautiful between the love a couple shares. You're expecting your first child, one of which represents everything good in this world. You're a little nervous, but mostly excited and a maternity session is a fantastic way to celebrate this time in your life. 

For one of the latest couples I photographed, we met in Northwest Houston at the ever popular waterfall location. It was about to storm but we went ahead and did the session. The sky is stunning and adds a moody, soulful flare to their portraits. I loved posing these two because they allowed me to lead so easily. During my time with you I ensure you feel comfortable and are at ease, especially for maternity, because it is so pertinent the images be authentic and preserve the dynamic between a couple.

Houston Baby and Family Portrait Photography

As a Houston Family and Baby Photographer, I am excited to announce fall family portrait sessions are in full swing! I've had many beautiful families on my calendar and absolutely precious children! I truly enjoy meeting new clients, such as the sweet clan I am showcasing today. For their outdoor, on location and natural light photography session, they selected one of my favorite locations in Northwest Houston. I adore this location since many of my clients reside in Cypress, Katy, Tomball, Spring, or The Woodlands so it's an easy location for everyone to travel to. It's also nice for clients who live in the Greater Houston Area such as downtown, Montrose, Upper Kirby or the Medical District since it is right off the highway. 

For my time with this precious family we focused on simple posing and allowing baby to play, explore, and just hang out with his family. Since I am a mama, I like to think about the images years from now. How will they look on your walls? What do you want to remember? I believe timeless, classic portraiture with modern, connected lifestyle posing is a wonderful way to preserve this time in your life because the focus is natural bonds and connections. It's holding your baby. Looking at your spouse. Family snuggles, etc. It's all those things you'll treasure.

One of my favorite aspects of their session are the outfits and light. In Houston, we don't have much of a fall, but for early morning sessions the weather is typically cool enough where you can wear autumn inspired outfits.
