A new baby is a monumental. The constant cuddles within the first month of life, breathing in their scent, cradling their little bodies and feeling their soft tufts of hair against your cheek. There's also a sense of wonder as you realize this little bundle of joy represents everything good and beautiful in the world. And their smiles! The smiles of a newborn baby are the best. This is why I specialize in newborn photography. Witnessing all the best parts of parenthood is the heart of my photography; preserving this time in your life is what I do best. We all know kiddos grow and change quickly; we're constantly told time is ever so fleeting, but sometimes it's not until the moments are gone do we realize they even occurred. This is motherhood - being amazed and in awe (and something a little exhausted to be honest). That is why newborn portraiture sessions are so special. They encompass the precious characteristics of your sweet baby from their yawns and curly nature to their perfect faces framed within a charming bonnet. Baby is the star and I pinky promise you'll treasure these images forever.
For my time with Baby Liam, I used one of my favorite color schemes for little boys - grey, white and blue. The session is also meant to reflect the maternity colors we used, too. Everything should tie in nicely together to ensure the wall art looks cohesive. For instance, this sweet baby is also a Baby Plan Membership client so I'll be seeing him at his 6 month/sitter session and his 12 month/cake smash portraits. The common thread of this color scheme will be carried through so that all sessions from maternity to first year of life coordinate perfectly together.
