Family Photography in Cypress, Tomball and Houston, TX: The E Family 

There's nothing like beautiful, golden light during your photography session! However, as much as I adore this perfect light, I also love a new baby even more! Their new squish slept like an angel the entire time. I spent a Saturday morning with this sweet family and it was wonderful meeting them.

My favorite part of their session is the posing. I like things to feel warm, authentic and pure. It's meant to be laid back for you, but also for the posing to have everyone connected and engaged. We do a variety of set ups from more traditional images in which everyone is looking at the camera to soft, intimate poses in which you're focusing on your new baby or hugging your spouse. Tenderness is beautiful and belongs on your walls. 

This location is a favorite of mine! It's Telge Park in Cypress, TX. It's wonderful for all session types and makes for lovely photos. While it's very popular, there's plenty of space and it's always fun to run into a photography pal. Moreover, there are many backgrounds so we achieve a timeless, rustic tone to the images, too.

During my sessions, I remove many distracting props. I like the focus to highlight family bonds and connections; your arms around baby are the perfect accessories and the love between you and your spouse is all we need.

Six Month Milestone Photography Session: Cypress, TX Baby Photographer

Good morning, everyone! Today is Friday which is never a bad thing; however, it's also absolutely beautiful outside and I'm looking forward to my upcoming weekend sessions. Nevertheless, first things first: let's talk about babies and how precious they are! Their squish, tufts of hair, soulful eyes - it's all perfect and a complete joy to document. 

If you follow my blog, you may remember Penny - a beautiful little one I've had the honor of getting to know. I first met this sweet family at their outdoor, natural light maternity session. Then I photographed their newborn, 3 month and now their 6 month milestone session for their daughter. They're using my First Year Baby Plan; this is a great option for clients who want a cohesive look on their walls and also would like to build a relationship with their photographer.

Before previewing her adorable 6 month session, here's a quick peek at the fun we've had together! 

 Penny was a squishy 10 pounds and I loved snuggling her sweet self!

Ahhh! And here's her three month milestone session, too. Look at her rolls. Sigh. So precious. I could spend all day with her!

For her outdoor and natural light six month session, however, we opted to do outdoor. Oh my word. She's gotten even cuter! Is that even possible?!

Oh, my goodness! Is there are anything more precious than a new baby? Their sweet scent, soft sighs, button noses - this makes me swoon in the best of ways! Baby A is no exception. Today I am previewing her newborn session for you. 

First up, however, is a little preview of her mama's maternity session. We opted for a natural light, golden hour session. This is when the light is most soft and warm; it embraces your baby bump and makes for fantastic maternity portraits. 

Big brother, T, was so handsome, too! Isn't he precious? His smile is contagious and whilst editing his portion, I had a huge grin on my face. Little ones are pure joy.

Mom is absolutely radiant in her pregnancy photos! Her gown, beautiful baby bump and the golden light were perfect. I also always encourage Dad and siblings to join in on the session. They're part of your story and I like to document it all.  For the newborn portion of the maternity + newborn baby package, I designed the session to be rustic but also feminine. Lace, soft colors such as muted blue/pink/lace and antique props made for many beautiful set ups. Baby A was also very curly during my time with her; she slept amazingly well thanks to a full tummy and very warm room.

As you can see, Dad is a Houston Texans fan. I always incorporate any special requests if possible. We also used all hand made and custom props to show off Baby A. Her little tufts of hair and petite nose are perfect!

All of my newborn session also include family and sibling photos. These are so special! It's important to capture everyone during the exciting time of a new baby.
