Best Big Brother | Family & Maternity Family Session in Houston

There's few things quite as special as a maternity session. Your heart is overjoyed as you prepare to meet your beautiful baby; Dad is often just as excited and little ones anticipate the arrival of a new best friend and partner in crime. I originally met the D family when I photographed their pregnancy announcement; however, I am even more thrilled to have documented their beautiful sunset and golden hour maternity session in Cypress, Texas. I am meeting their new baby in just a few days and cannot wait!

The T Family's Natural Light Portraits in Houston Texas

As a Cypress area photographer, I have several locations that I love and adore using natural light for my on location and golden hour portrait sessions. This fall, for example, I have been using many local parks for my family sessions. This morning I am gearing up for a busy weekend of sessions and of course working on final copies + blogging. I am a little behind on blogging this week as I've been photographing sessions full time due to the icky and unpredictable weather. 

I'm excited to show off the T family! This is their first session with me, but hopefully not the last. :-) I had them meet me at Telge Park and we focused on capturing the entire family as well as individual portraits of their little ones (who could not be more precious). Father & Daughter Fall Photography Session | Cypress TX Family Photographer {77429, 77095, 77065, 77433}

Good morning! Happy Friday, y'all! Today I am gearing up for a lot of great things. (1) I have three family sessions this evening and we're going to try to dodge the rain, (2) I have a squishy newborn tomorrow whom I am styling things for and prepping, (3) Halloween will be exciting, and (4) I have 8 sessions Sunday - so I am really looking forward to documenting your beautiful family milestones.

This morning, however, I am blogging a family session that is specifically geared as a father/daughter session. Dad is so sweet and he planned a lovely session to highlight the love between him and his pre-teen daughter, Sophia. I had the pair meet me in Cypress for a morning session at Telge Park. The following are some of my favorite images, and I'm thrilled I was able to preserve and honor their love. This has inspired me to perhaps plan a daddy/daughter session for my own little ones, too! 

At the end of the session, I spent a little one on one time with Soph. We had a great time! She has such a fun spirit and I enjoyed chatting with her.
