Sassy Little Ladies | Houston Family Photos with Young Children

Howdy, folks! This morning I’m working through my editing pile as I like to maintain a 3 to 4 day turnaround from your sessions. However, now that I’ve done today’s editing, I am working on previewing a recent 2015 fall family session. The session features the beautiful C family, a sweet bunch who were referred to me by another local photographer, one of which I truly respect and admire. For their session, we met at Telge Park, right around sunrise for a lovely natural light atmosphere. They have two little girls who I enjoyed meeting – kiddos are always my favorite clients! Early Morning Pregnancy Portraits | Kara's Maternity Session Houston

Good morning, folks! Isn’t today beautiful? I feel as if fall is finally upon us here in Houston. This morning my windows are open, I’m drinking a delicious coffee, and listening to indie rock. While doing so, I am finishing up final copies and catching up on the blog – particularly one of the latest maternity sessions I’ve documented. As a Cypress photographer, one based out of Northwest Houston, I specialize in newborn, maternity, child and family portraiture. These are the only sessions I take and each one brings me so much joy! Maternity is especially near and dear to me since it’s all about preserving a special time in your life; this is when you imagine your baby’s face, feel his kicks, and he does not yet belong to the world. It’s a time in which you will fondly remember and will miss when it’s gone. For Kara’s session, we met at a local spot in Cypress near Lone Star College Cy Fair. I recommend this most for morning sessions and also for nursing or maternity. The following are a few of my favorite images. Congratulations, Kara. Bringing Grandparents to Your Session | 7 Month Milestone Photos

Howdy! I missed Friday’s blog post as I used that time to retouch final copies from the sessions that took place earlier that week. With fall family sessions upon us, I like staying on top of my editing pile. This in mind, I am taking a little time on this beautiful Sunday afternoon to catch up on a little work. My littles are napping, so there’s no time like a little peace and quiet. Today, I am previewing a recent 2015 fall family photography session. The session took place in Coles Crossing, a neighborhood located in 77429; it’s wonderful because it has easy access and also lovely light – especially during the evening.
