Good morning, folks! Isn’t today beautiful? I feel as if fall is finally upon us here in Houston. This morning my windows are open, I’m drinking a delicious coffee, and listening to indie rock. While doing so, I am finishing up final copies and catching up on the blog – particularly one of the latest maternity sessions I’ve documented. As a Cypress photographer, one based out of Northwest Houston, I specialize in newborn, maternity, child and family portraiture. These are the only sessions I take and each one brings me so much joy! Maternity is especially near and dear to me since it’s all about preserving a special time in your life; this is when you imagine your baby’s face, feel his kicks, and he does not yet belong to the world. It’s a time in which you will fondly remember and will miss when it’s gone. For Kara’s session, we met at a local spot in Cypress near Lone Star College Cy Fair. I recommend this most for morning sessions and also for nursing or maternity. The following are a few of my favorite images. Congratulations, Kara.
