For instance, as a Houston photographer, one who specializes in newborn portraiture, I am honored to work with you! It is an incredible gift to document precious babies. While the sessions do take an immense amount of time, patience, skill and just the right room temperature, they also are a joy to photograph mainly because it's an art form. Molding the cherub babies into these poses is so fun! It's all about showing off the chubby cheeks, baby side rolls, full lips and their eyelashes. Baby is the star here!
When you book a session, everything is designed around your home. I have an array of stunning, organic fabrics and textiles. I offer hand picked vintage and antique props that are both timeless and rustic; I also am always ordering new pieces such as these beautiful hand crafted tie backs. They're soft and dainty and ethereal - just like your perfect newborn baby girl. For little boys, I delight in styling them with simple bonnets and organic wraps to ensure baby looks curly and reflects the posing you would see in the womb.

Ideal for new babies who are between 7 and 12 days of life. All props are provided by photographer and are meant to match your home. The custom art of newborn photography is highly specialized and requires an immense amount of safety and skill. I have chosen to specialize in newborn photography because babies fill my heart with such joy. Due to safety and the delicate nature of newborn sessions, the sessions range from 3-4 hours long. It's recommended you book your newborn session at least 6 weeks in advance so designs may be ordered.
