As a Houston TX Newborn, Family and Maternity Photographer, I adore documenting your beautiful baby bumps and also capturing your family are you are. A stunning location and beautiful light are my inspiration and then throughout the session I lead you to ensure you feel comfortable and at ease. For this outdoor and natural light maternity session, we shot in Cypress TX, a suburb of NW Houston, where my photography business is based. This is the ever so popular waterfall location.

My favorite part of photographing newborns is simply spending time with them, molding them into works of art and showcasing all that is ethereal. They're challenging yet the details make my heart sing. The way the light fills baby's face, their hands folded ever so slightly, or wrapping them to reflect the posing of the womb is what makes me tick. Photographers, like myself, who choose to specialize in newborn portraiture do so because we love what we do. The styling, posing, - everything. The challenge, especially. 

For my time with this handsome baby boy, I utilized some of my favorite colors: grey and also some earthy tones such as brown, tan, taupe, etc. I even threw in a green for a splash of color. That's what is so fun about custom newborn photography: every session is different. 

And of course, I cannot forget my favorite family photos from this session. So sweet, so pure! I cannot express how much I adore this family and how fantastic they are. I could have spent all day with them.
