I'm a mother to three sassy little girls, wife to an awesome dude, and also a chase of golden light, aka a photographer. Documenting squishy newborn babies, family milestones and radiant baby bumps truly makes me tick. There's nothing like spending the morning with an expecting couple or new family as we celebrate you. When this beautiful mother to be contacted me to book her natural, light outdoor maternity session and her posed newborn portraits, I was simply over the moon. These are my favorite to photograph! I designed a session showcasing ethereal golden light and all the love encompassing bringing home a new baby. We chose a location in Northwest Houston that features a natural setting; over hanging oak trees, flowers, and tall grass make for an organic and timeless feel. Here are some of my favorite images from my time with this sweet couple!
Mama is simply stunning! The golden light radiates around her and her baby bump is simply perfect.
Of course, I always ensure there is plenty of time so you may change outfits if you prefer. While there is no pressure to do two different wardrobe looks, many mothers like to do so.
