Howdy, folks! Today on the blog I am featuring an adorable couple and their fur baby, J! I've been looking forward to writing about their session because of the star of the show is definitely their sweet pup! Sometimes when booking, a client will ask if pets are "allowed" at sessions. The answer is always yes! I encourage you to bring your fur babies so that we may honor and preserve them. Animals are family. They change our hearts and deserve to be on your mantel piece in all your family portraits.

For this session, I had them meet me at Telge Park. It's a good location for pets because there's plenty of space for your fur baby to run and play. It also is pet friendly and features many walking trails and exploration paths for your pet. Moreover, this location is lovely for morning because the sun rises through the trees. The end result is stunning, soft light that will forever showcase your family. In photography, light is everything. It's an art.

As a Houston photographer, I adore working with families, children and newborns. The longer I document these subjects, the more I begin to think of myself as a family photographer. While everyone has their own definition of this, to me, family photographer encompasses everything from beautiful baby bumps, to squishy newborns, to precocious toddlers to children as they grown and become part of the world. This is your family; I want to be there from the beginning and I delight in seeing you expand or seeing all the new milestones your family accomplishes.

Howdy there! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm so happy you're here. Today I am previewing a beautiful family who I had the pleasure of documenting. If you follow my work, you may know I have an obsession with all my sessions beginning during golden hour; this is when the light is most soft and magical. It's golden. It's perfect. It's everything we need for a magnificent session. 

I'd love to introduce the J family to you! They're a fantastic bunch and I really enjoyed my time with them. Mom happens to be an extremely talented photographer, so when she called me to book a session I did a little dance. It was so fun to design their session because it was a meeting of the souls; both her and I knew exactly what the other person was describing. As you can see, their session is so fun! It's the perfect collection to showcase who they are. I'd also like to thank Mom because she lent me her phenomenal lens - the Canon 200 mm f/2.0L.
