Good morning to you! I hope you're enjoying this beautiful weather we've had all week! Today is Friday and I'm gearing up for a wonderful weekend. Not only do I have a few newborns on my calendar, I also am looking forward to spending time with some close family friends, a play date for my little ones and I may even catch up on the laundry. Oh yes - I live my life on the edge! Welcome to motherhood!

However, let's talk about this golden hour family photography session. Golden hour is my favorite time of the day to document clients; it's when things are full of magic. The air is full of anticipation and the sun cascades over the earth. It's soft yet warm - the perfect light to capture your family. 

I loved meeting this sweet bunch! The fall and winter is a wonderful time to schedule family portraits because the weather is perfect. You can utilize cute attire such as jeans, little boots and timeless color schemes such as the above. 

Working one on one with each kiddo is a joy! Their personalities are a lot of fun to capture.

Sometimes during the child/sibling portion of a family photography session there are a few adorable outtakes. These two simply love one another! Little Brother was in the bucket and then Big Sister could not help but give him hugs! They're sweet kiddos. I'm blessed to have clients as enjoyable as this bunch.

Finally, we finish up the session with a few images of Mom and Dad together. It's important to document the two of you and preserve the love you share.

 Ah, motherhood. The greatest love story of your life. The unconditional bond that forever change the core of your existence. The relationship you have with your children is sacred and begs to be documented. As a mama to three little girls, I know this all too well. Time is ever so fleeting and there's a constant internal struggle of wanting your little one to remain small and yet thinking of the future, envisioning who this mighty toddler will become.

Howdy, y'all! Good morning! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and that you enjoyed the beautiful Houston weather. However, this morning it's a bit gloomy and grey outdoors. However, have no fear; I am previewing a beautiful ray of sunshine for you this morning that is sure to brighten your day. 

As a Cypress photographer, photographing your family sessions is a wonderful, rewarding career. I spend my evenings celebrating you and creating treasured heirlooms. My philosophy is to embrace the spirit of your children and to design a session based around the interpersonal and familial dynamics your family presents. You may be asking, "What does this mean?" This simply means I do not force moments; I organically guide you and ensure the session is stress free. Custom photography is an art; golden, warm light is my paintbrush whereas creating connection based and close knit posing is my canvas.
